The price of teddy’s goodies is competitive with other high quality brands, but, we don’t add vegetable glycerin to our products, so, pets get more of the real chicken, or whichever meat product they choose.
Vegetable glycerin does make the product chewier, and it does add weight to the product, but we have decided to never add it.
The result is more actual meat used to produce the product in each one of our bags. Checkout the number of chicken breast strips in our bag compared to another brand. We have more, hands down!
I believe that vegetable glycerin, also used in making soap, is what causes upset stomachs in pets when they eat too many treats.
Treats should always be just that, a treat, to reward your pet, or just let it know you love him or her, and used in moderation.
While we could increase our profits by adding lower cost ingredients, we just refuse to do so.
